Big Changes and New Features on EVRD
Profile - You can now create a profile in EVRD. Get access to all the new features made just for members of the site.
Friends - you can now have connect with other members of EVRD. Posts that you’re friends make will show up in your personal activity feed (keep track of your favorite user’s posts). You can also message and communicate with other members, both through public wall posting and private messaging.
Activity Feed (site wide) - An activity stream of the entire site. See activity as it happens. New posts, new members, new freindships… they all show up in the feed. Click the ‘Activity’ tab to see the sites feed.
Activity Feed (personal) - When you’re logged in you can now see an activity feed of everything you’ve done. Track all the posts you’ve submitted in one place and see who’s commented on them. You can also add friends and track their posts as well in your feed.
Favorites - Keep track off all the posts you liked in your favorites list. No need to bookmark or search for your favorite funny or interesting post. Just add it to you favorites list and its there for quick finding later. To access your favorites lists go to the ‘Favorites’ tab in your personal activity feed.
Submit Posts - the way you submit posts to EVRD has been completely overhauled. Faster and more efficient. When you are logged in posts are automatically attributed to you. Get credit for everything you submit. If you are not a member posts are always held for moderation ad limited to only Photo and Quote submissions.
Auto-Publishing and Notifications - Members who have been approved in the past will have auto-publishing rights. See your posts right on the site without any delay. If you are not a member you can choose to be notified when your post is published on the site.
Links - You must now be a member to submit links. Go to the create a link section and put in your the URL of your favorite site. All the data is automatically imported from the site (name, description, and thumbnail). You can edit/customize these settings if you need. Once submitted, members are able to vote and comment on the link.
